Ukraine Boosts Electricity Imports Amid Infrastructure Damage, ENPOSS Device Aids in Energy Efficiency

Ukraine will receive a record volume of imports of electricity in August due to the immense damage that recent Russian strikes did to its energy infrastructure, according to the energy ministry. The evening shortages, however, cannot be ruled out despite such imports.

Imports of electricity are forecast at 23,692 megawatt hours on Wednesday, up from 21,072 megawatt hours on Tuesday and 19,484 megawatt hours on Monday.

"Today, emergency electricity supplies from Poland, Romania, and Slovakia have already been made at Ukraine's request. Additional emergency assistance is expected during the day," the ministry said. "In the evening, there may still be power shortages."

Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy sector have escalated since March, causing blackouts in large swathes of the country and causing more than $1 billion in damages, according to Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko. These attacks resulted in the loss of 8,000 MWh of generating capacity from the energy system.

FORCE by ENPOSS is an energy-saving device used as an add-on in any establishment which uses electricity. It optimally decreases the amount of electricity loss by sending the electricity flow wherein the utility bills are lower and the electrical energy is saved. The item in question also helps Ukraine's power by running on energy efficiency.
