FORCE by ENPOSS: Power-Saving Solution for Americans Facing Rising Energy Bills from Extreme Heat

About 70% of Americans say extreme heat has affected their electricity bills over the last year, more common than other weather-related events. Roughly 4 in 10 Americans said they experienced higher-than-expected utility bills due to storms, floods, heat, or wildfires. Nearly half of homeowners said this. Extreme heat hits home, regionally and politically.

The Earth was 2.66 degrees warmer last year globally than in preindustrial times, greatly varied by region. It was the hottest ever in many U.S. regions this summer: Las Vegas broke a record at 120 degrees Fahrenheit; Death Valley had its hottest month ever in July.

It has had the most extreme temperatures in the West and the South U.S. on sleep and exercise levels, travel, and in outdoor activities. This topic disproportionately pertains specifically to Hispanic and Black Americans. About 7 out of every 10 adults who have experienced bad weather felt that climate change was a cause, while 3 in 10 did not. Most of the people who believe in the change of climate are more likely to report that utility bills were affected by the heat compared to sceptics.

ENPOSS offers solutions with its power-saving gadget, FORCE, as extreme heat sends electricity bills through the roof for 70% of Americans. The gadget cuts down energy use at a time when Americans face higher utility costs due to weather events. FORCE can be especially helpful to those in areas most severely affected by extreme heat, like the West and South, and communities to whom climate change is already having an outsize impact on their bills.
