Small businesses are platforms for opportunities to help with financial success and independence. It is no surprise that small businesses are called the “Backbone of the Economy”

About 44% of the economic activities in the United States are run by small businesses. 50% of GDP is generated by nearly 27 million small businesses in the country. Small businesses provide most of the local employment and diversity and are platforms for opportunities to help with financial success and independence. It is no surprise that small businesses are called the ‘Backbone of the Economy”.

According to a research by british chambers.org.uk, they found that only one in ten (11%) are measuring their carbon footprint with the larger firms (27%) setting carbon reductions than the microbusinesses (9%) and 30% backing out because of the finances. Ben Block, CEO of GozAround Green, a site that allows businesses to offer rewards to consumers who buy carbon offsets, reacts to the people who say their emissions don’t matter, saying. If every household reduced and/or offset even 10% of their emissions, the impact would be huge.

This is entirely achievable given the relatively low cost of offsets.” Small steps taken collectively make a huge difference as a whole. Greenamerica.org suggests few simple steps that can be taken to do your part in reducing emissions: - Purchase carbon offsets : when you buy a carbon offset, you fund a project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Carbon offsets levels up carbons emitted. it determines that monetary value and helps keep a track of the emissions emitted. - Invest in renewable energy : Purchasing Renewable is moving to clean energy.

A shift to using energy from solar, wind and a use for electric cars can help reduce consumption and reduce carbon emissions. - Use green refrigerants and appliances : Harmful chemicals are released into the atmosphere from the refrigerators and air conditioners.

Green tech is introduced to provide clean and smart refrigerators which are less potent and do not release toxins. They help reduce electricity bill and after used for a long time, they can be disposed, recycled with RAD - Educate yourself, your staff and customers : Awareness on climate change must be talked about. it is important to educate the staff and the customers on the impact of climate change and the ways to reduce them Play your part by using Force.
