The giant automobile brands have been joining the Electric Car revolution. Global sales are estimated to reach 10.7m by 2025 and then 28.2m by 2030.
We are in the midst of the Electrification Revolution, a sudden spike in electric car manufacturing all over the world has been observed. “The electric vehicle market is in a rapid shift, there is more than $100bn investment in 2020” according to McKinsey.
Carmakers have announced a total of $330bn of investment into electric and battery technology over the next five years. As governments set dates to reduce emissions, the demand for EVs is expected to rise strongly, as many countries call for an end to fossil fuels and emissions by 2030. The governmental policies encourage the development of EVs. Sales of electric cars in Europe have jumped from 198,000 in 2018 to an expected 1.17m this year. Working towards installing smart charging points that cater to this rise in sales should be the next goal.
The giant automobile brands have been joining the Electric Car revolution. Global sales are estimated to reach 10.7m by 2025 and then 28.2m by 2030. - Rolls-Royce is going to launch the first electric car in 2023 and aims to sell only electric cars from 2030 - Bentley’s first launch is in 2023 and then strive to sell only fully electric cars by 2030 - Volkswagen launch is in 2023 and 70% of its sales will be electric by 2030 - Jaguar plans to sell only electric cars from 2025 - The British sports car company Lotus said it would follow suit, selling only electric models from 2028 - General Motors says it will make only electric vehicles by 2030 - Ford says all vehicles sold in Europe will be electric by 2030 Smart charging technologies allow us to charge and discharge energy back to the grid.
Vehicles can be charged when demand is low and can return energy to the grid at times of peak demand. This revolution is to obtain clean energy that benefits the environment. In the coming decades, every house would be equipped with an EV charging point.
This implies that there will be an increase in electricity bills , this can be countered by using renewables and energy-saving devices like FORCE. Using Force will help you reduce electricity usage up to 10% and save bills up to 15%. Choose to be equipped for the future.
